IOD 2009 Day 1 is Packed Full for Me The IBM Information On Demand 2009 (IOD2009) conference kicked off today and boy am I tired already. My day started at 6am with a business call (because most of the folks I work with are still on east coast time but luckily Im not on west coast time yet so it still felt like 9am to me). Then I went on what seemed like a 20 minute walk to the keynote session. Great Story on DB2 with SAP Here is a story I just came across that appeared on SearchOracle.com of all places.
The story profiles how the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. saved money and made an easy switch to DB2 for their SAP systems. This is the same message you have been hearing from IBM for some time now but in this case it's not IBM telling the story it's the company that made the switch.
