The ANIMATION 2000 project  was aimed to develop a professional software for the cartoon studios.  It covers mostly the pre-production steps (story-board, layout & posing) of the production process.

A first version covering the layout phase was developed on SGI using the Object Oriented Database VERSANT.  (The groupware aspect of the project was described on my PHD dissertation).



A second version (covering the story-board, layout & posing) was developed under RAPSODY-DR2.

The project was abandoned, but the sources of the second version were put in the public domain under :  anim2000.sourceforge.net
